म नेपाल हासेको हेर्न चाहन्छु, नेपालीको मन नाचेको हेर्न चाहन्छु। म नेपाल हासेको हेर्न चाहन्छु, नेपाली खुसीले बाँचेको हेर्न चाहन्छु। अत्याचार, आक्रमण, अपराध, असमझदारी, विकल्पहीन, विदेशी बैंक भन्छ भिखारी। शिकारी नेता, अभिनेता बन्छ क्रान्तिकारी, बिग्रेका सपना, भोका पेट, रेटिन्छ सिपाही। अविवाहित चेलीबेटी, बोकेर पेट पिटाइ, बिताइ रात, कुटाइ घात, सहेर शरीर बिकाइ। देशको माटो मिठाइ ठानेर मैदानमा लड्ने, भक्त झैँ प्रसिद्ध भो, तर सत्ताले पछार्ने। सिरजफ्त भो सत्य वाणी, निशब्द भो देशब्यापी, आफ्नै प्राणको आहुती, सहिद बने बिभूषित। तर आमाको पीडाले, सुकेको छ यो मन, बदलौं अब समय, मिलेर उठौं सब जन! म नेपाल हासेको हेर्न चाहन्छु, नेपालीको मन नाचेको हेर्न चाहन्छु। म नेपाल हासेको हेर्न चाहन्छु, नेपाली खुसीले बाँचेको हेर्न चाहन्छु। देश हाम्रो सुन्दर बगैँचा होस्, रंगीचंगी फूलहरू, हरेक जात, हरेक मन, प्रेमले भरिएको मूलहरू। अनुकूल, प्रतिकूल सोच्ने भावना हराओस्, सामूहिक खुसी बिना, के अर्थ छ यो चाहनाको? औचित्य के त्यो सपनाको, यदि हास्न सक्दैनौं, उद्धेश्य लेऊ, हात समाऊ, एकसाथ जुट्न सक्दैनौं? अब गरेर देखाऊ, कालो अतीतलाई मेटाऊ, पालो हाम्रो हो, भेटाउ, कल्पना गर शान्तिको! सपना देख्नेका पूरा हुन्छन्, जागरण नै क्रान्ति हो, विपनामा बाटो खुल्छ, जब सहकार्यको भावना हो। नसोच कि तिमी मालिक हौ, र अरू तिम्रा नोकर, सबै समान छौं, प्रेम नै सत्यको आधार! एक पटक कारण बनी हेर, अरूको सानो हासोको, उसको मुस्कानमा रमाइ हेर, निस्वार्थ प्रेम साँचो हो। यो खाँचो हो मायाको, पूरा भए नेपाल हास्नेछ, एकआपस मर्म बुझ्यौं भने, हरेक क्षण बाँस्नेछ।
